Walk Through videos real estate

Video Camera IconA "WalkThru" video is one that uses a hand held video camera that films as I literally walk through the house, the grounds, the rooms and any additional features of the property like stables, guest houses, groves and more. It is designed to give you a much "closer-to-reality" feeling of "place".

This secluded 40+ acre ranch is reminiscent of early California with its hacienda style adobe houses surrounded by majestic centuries old Oak Trees. It offers unparalleled views of the entire Ojai Valley from Topa Topa with its Pink Moment to the Casitas Pass as well as income producing Avocados and an award winning Cabernet and Syrah vineyard, a family Citrus orchard and room for horses.

The house is formed in the shape of a horse shoe, so the video allows the viewer to receive a sense of how one space flows into another both inside the house and the grounds. The grounds surround the house on the hill top while the commercial groves and vineyard flow down the hillsides offing both income and privacy. The video captures all this.

This East End Ojai Valley estate is a delight to photograph since it is lovely to look at, oozes charm and warmth and has lovely landscape even in the middle of winter and is tastefully furnished. However, previous photographers were apparently unable to capture that. With a north facing house whose frontage never really receives the sun, that is not surprising.

Take a look at the suite of both still photographs that would probably be viewed first and then the videos for a more indepth visit or to show friends and family who may not be present. (This property also has a video created from still photos)

This ranch that has acres of avocado groves covering the hillsides leading up to the house proper on a flattened out area, is a historic Ojai property. While the house is newish, the property is not and the owners are some of the valley's founders. The house is extensive but the immediate grounds hug tight to the house and offer a magnificent view out to Lake Casitas over which the setting sun can be enjoyed from the terrace.

The cathedral ceiling of the living room is ringed on three sides by a gallery of an extensive library off of which many of the rooms connect. A balcony outside the master bedroom catches the early morning sun while the back receives the afternoon light

This 2+ acre property is located on Ojai's Saddle Mountain (now sold) and has both flat land and hillside grounds. It is a one story house that stretches horizontally across the slope and when photographed, becomes a thin line in the still photos.

So it is a prime subject for a "WalkThru" video since we can wander through the gardens, the nells and green grotto's, the hillside paths, enjoy the sound of the numerous fountains and bird song.

The house itself on the inside caters to this treatments as well since it is just a series of rooms one opening into the others, so the walk through provides a much better sense of just how they flow than still photos can convey.

This Ojai 3 bedroom house on a quiet residential street has a lot of charm and lovely light. It is set on a small land space that backs up to a large estate. It is shaded by a giant oak that filters the light. This video allows the viewer to wander through the house and grounds and get a sense of how it all flows together in a way that still photos never can.

This East End Ojai Valley home is purposefully recessive with a low profile and obscured by trees for privacy without sacrificing marvelous views out over the valley. It has both hillside and flat land landscape with notable stone work in the structures, pathways and walls. However, previous photographers were apparently unable to capture that. With a north facing house whose frontage never really receives the sun, that is not surprising.

This video walks you from the driveway, up to the house and through it. It is very effective at showing the views through the north facing glass walls that make the house so special. This video technique allows for the camera to skim across surfaces, between objects, as though you are flying. So it really brings the viewer close to the detains and the textures of stone counter tops to the faucets in the bathroom.
