We are building our workshops around Adobe PhotoShop Elements. It has been vastly improved this last couple of years, and the versions available today contain almost everything you could possibly need to handle the "digital work flow" of your digital images. However, if you already have or prefer to work with the full pro version of PhotoShop CS2, we can address the differences on a person to person basis.
Because Adobe is having to redevelop all its Mac products due to the change in the Mac processor and its accompanying operating system, the Mac version of Elements does not have some of the extra features of the Windows version. (It should be noted that most of these features are available from via links on the internet.) It is, however, still fully equipped with all the same tools even though some are slightly different in name and how you use them.

PhotosShop Elements for Windows (30 day Trial or BUY):

You can download a free 30 day trial version of the latest Adobe Photoshoop Elements V5.0 for Windows ONLY from their website, then you can pay for the program if you want to keep it. Otherwise it erases itself from your computer. Click here for the link to the trial download.

PhotoShop Elements for the Mac:

Unfortunately, you cannot download a free 30 day trial version of the Adobe Photoshoop Elements V4.0 for Macs from their website, although you can pay for and download the program if you want to. Adobe is still working on making a new "native" version for the new generation of Macs so while the version available does most of the same things the Windows version does, it does not have the library of album, card, stamps templates available for Windows users. PhotoShop CS2 Pro version

The full version of PhotoShop CS2 is the pro version of the program. If you prefer to use this, we can still help you with it although the workshops are built around Elements which has the same tools, although not as many and configured in a different fashion and often called different names and grouped in different ways. Adobe Acrobat Reader:

You can download a free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader from their site to open and read PDF files. Click here for the link to the page where you have to fill in some computer information to make sure you get the right one.
